The Creative Mind Panel
October 14, 2017 - Meaghan Ogilvie was honoured to have been invited to Salt Spring Island to speak at the ‘creative mind’ panel hosted during the Salt Spring National Art Prize (SSNAP) to discuss creativity in the arts and sciences. The panel explored the nature of creativity, its essential elements, and where the creative spark comes from.
Speakers included director Atom Egoyan, astrophysicist Art McDonald (he was unable to attend) and Meaghan Ogilvie. Panel organizer Janet Halliwell, an executive member of the Salt Spring National Art Prize was the wonderful moderator.
